Is the Bible "the Word of God"? What about the other books and words from the other World's religions? Do they contain the "Word of God" as well? Can the "Word of God" be contained in the static pages of these books? How does one discern the "Word of God" in these books? Are they consistent throughout?
The Bible is words about God. The Torah is words about God. The Koran is words about God. The Bhagavad Gita, the Tao, Confucianism, Zoroastrianism, etc, etc. are words about God. Some of these words are true, beautiful, and good. Some of them, not so much. Nothing touched by human hands should ever be considered perfect or infallible. All books should be read with discernment, knowledge, and wisdom. The closer these words come to a God of perfect love, the closer they come to the truth.
